So on the morning of January 17, 2015, I set my DVR to record Lifetime’s Whitney. Ijust had to see it and I planned on watching it, but I wanted to record it just in case my 3 year old son decided to have a temper tantrum during the movie I could watch it later. I took the whole day to get myself together so I could see this Angela Bassett directed movie. I just knew it was going to be good girl. I mean Angela Bassett was running this production. She knows way more about making a movie than Wendy Williams does. So the time came for the movie to come on and I sat with my cup of coffee and I watched and watched and damn it I watched some more. Then the movie ended and I wanted to see more. It was that good that I didn’t want it to end.
A little part of me felt super bad that I thought the movie was great, because this was Whitney Houston’s life. I was sitting their enjoying the re-enactments of Whitney and Bobby‘s life. The Whitney movie was filled with love, betrayal, sex, drugs and rock and roll and I loved it. What the hell is wrong with me? Angela Bassett had lots of pressure on her to deliver a great product for many reasons. Some of them being that Lifetime needed a great biopic since Wendy Williams screwed up the Aaliyah movie, also this is Angela’s directorial debut (the Yale graduate would have not been forgiven if she messed this one up), then their the Houston family who did not approve of this production. Angela called Whitney her friend and I believe all that I saw in this movie, because these are things that happened that only a friend would tell another friend.
I enjoyed this movie. The only changes that I would have made would be the title of the movie. I would have called it Whitney and Bobby: A Love Story.
Did you like the movie?
Happy Thanksgiving‘s Day to you all. While many of you are thankful for family, being employed or just to freaking be alive, I however think their are some TV shows we should be thankful for as well. Shoot if it wasn’t for our favorite TV program, what the hell would we really be doing at 10 pm on a Thursday night. So everyone please grab your remote controls and raise them in the air in solidarity to thank TELEVISION FOR BEING APART OF OUR LIVES.

I know the rest of the Goodie Mob is pissed at Cee-Lo Green. Their band mate Cee-Lo is in major trouble and he recently plead no contest to giving a woman the drug ecstasy. This charge is a felony. The drama in his life has cost the group their reality show.
In this day and age when you are going through something , many just tweet about it. So the pop star decided now would be a great time to go on tweeting and ranting about the act of a rape. It’s not rape if the person is passed out. People who have really been raped remember. These are just a few of the irresponsible and stupid tweets that Mr. Green allegedly created.
In the midst of Cee-Lo’s legal matters, his reality show on TBS The Good Life has been pulled off of the air. The network says that the show had extremely low ratings, but after Cee-Lo’s twitter fiasco that took the cake.
Rape should not be taken lightly. GOSIPTV takes the subject matter of such an act very seriously. Although difficult to talk about, it needs to be addressed. Cee-Lo’s nonchalant tweets about rape and rape victims is disgusting. No many or woman should fall victim to such and act. I think the networks decision to pull the show off of the air was fair and I pretty sure their will be even more hell to pay for those tasteless tweets.
Toyota‘s new commercial for their 2015 Sienna wagon has some people steaming mad. The company has posted a few Swagger Wagon commercials over the years, but this particular one features Busta Rhymes. I have viewed the commercial a few times and I think it’s funny. But please don’t tell Black Twitter that I said that.
In the commercial their is a white suburban family rapping about how cool the swagger wagon is and so on. Alright listen up mother fathers this one is about the swagger wagon says the little girl in the beginning of the video. The family then proceeds to rap about the vehicle and they do the famous Soulja Boy superman dance, the two step and the kids make it rain with coins. Oh thats not all the kids also jump out of bed in shiny red suits, like Mase and P. Diddy did back in the day. There is also a product placement for Sirius XM and their Hip Hop Nation radio station, before Busta Rhymes appears on the screen.
Some feel it’s making a mockery out of hip hop. WRONG!!!! Hip Hop had a stroke when Khia made My Neck, My Back, then had a heartache when Soulja Boy came out, it’s now on Life Support thanks to songs like Versace and It Ain’t Nothing To Cut That Bitch Off. Don’t get mad at Toyota for using Hip Hop’s foolishness to sell their cars.

I viewing my favorite entertainment website LoveBscott.com and came across this. Seem like during the BET AWARDS the graphics person in the control room misspelled Lionel Richie‘s name. Minor mistake, but it’s funny when you find one. Thanks B Scott for sharing.
