OH MY : THERE WAS A CONTROVERSIAL SEINFELD EPISODE THAT WAS NEVER SHOT

The comedy classic Seinfeld covered man topics on screen, so when I heard that their was an episode that the cast refused to tape I had to get more info.

So I found out that their was an episode about Elaine buying a gun to protect herself. The cast and the crew refused to shoot the episode, they didn’t think it was funny.

The episode was called The Bet and it would have been their ninth episode. They were going to place a bet on whether Elaine would buy a gun or not. Here is were the episode takes a turn to the not so funny side, Elaine would joke about shooting herself. The script also had Elaine referring to her being shot as The Kennedy, which pokes fun at the assassination of President Kennedy.

Good for the cast and crew for making a wise decision. Had they done that episode I don’t think they would have lasted long. Guns are never funny.

Over 100,000 people are shot in the USA every year and that number is quickly going up.

C’MON SON: ED LOVER DOESN’T LIKE BEING OWED

Former Yo MTV Raps host Ed Lover was recently approached by TMZ and when asked if he will ever return to MTV. He said hell no. Why would I go back to doing something I did when I was 25 years old, just for a check. I make my own checks. I don’t like being OWNED by a network, says Lover.

For you youngsters that don’t know what Yo MTV Raps is let me be the one to tell you, it was the original 106 & Park. Don’t believe me just watch. All of the artist would stop by the set and talk about their projects, their journey, then freestyle and sometimes argue.

So if you had your hopes up about a possible return of the show, uh keep dreaming. If MTV does recreate the classic hip hop show Ed Lover will not be involved. Instead you can see Ed online with his C’mon Son series.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: DID YOU KNOW WHOOPI HAD HER OWN TALKSHOW

Before her spot on The View, our favorite co -host Whoopi Goldberg had her own talkshow. The show aired for one season 1992-1993.

She had 200 episodes under her belt. Her show aired 5 days a week. She interviewed Hollywood actors, politicians, musicians and more.

Whoopi joined The View in 2007. I believe that she was the best thing that ever happened to that show.
